Impact FC 2: The Uprising Results

Impact 2 "The Uprising" became host to two UFC champions who beat up and outmatched.  Frank Shamrock fought Pedro Rizzo in the main event fight of the night and in under two minutes, The UFC superfight champion was on the ground submitting to strikes.  Bustamante, on the other hand, was grappling with UFC Tuf veteran Taylor and in the second round felt dizzy and waved of the fight, calling it quits.

UK and UFC bad boy Paul Daley picked up a submission victory due to strikes against Pride FC veteran Daniel Acacio.

Paulo Filho fought Denis Kang which turned out to be a split draw.  One judge scored it 29-28 Filho, one scored it 29-29 draw, and the last judge saw the fight ending in 30-27 Kang.  The two fought each other on the ground for most of the three rounds and they both scored evenly with punches, submission attempts and sweeps.

Consecutive fight winners Glover Teixeira and Murilo "Ninja" Rua both picked up wins in their bouts.  Ninja slapped on a guillotine choke in the first round against Jeremy May while it took Teixeira half of the first to defeat Peselj via TKO strikes.
