UFC Live 6 Cruz vs Johnson Bantamweight Championship

The Ultimate Fighting Championships recently announced the company's second official bantamweight title fight will take place on Saturday October 1, 2011 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The man looking to create wakes in the division is Demetrious Johnson who has recently been promoted to the number one contender. Champion Dominick Cruz successfully defended his title at UFC 132 and redeemed a past loss against a tough Uriah "The California Kid" Faber.
Pat "HD" Barry and Stefan "Skyscraper" Struve have been selected as the co-main event even though both men suffered devastating knockout losses in their last fights. Barry was dumbfounded when waking up on the canvas after being dropped by Cheick Kongo at UFC Live 5 this past June. HD had caught Kongo with a big punch dazing him but the former heavyweight contender made quick work shortly thereafter scoring a highlight reel knockout. Struve not only made an appearance on the main card of UFC 130 but also made the ESPN top ten plays of the week for his loss against Browne. In that fight, Browne threw a sharp superman punch landing flush on Struve's jaw and collapsing his body like a skeleton. Knockout of the night hopeful?
